Jesús Estévez

With more than twenty years of professional experience, he has advised on over 100 complex transactions with a combined value exceeding €15 billion, establishing himself as a trusted advisor for financial institutions and major corporations both in Spain and internationally.

An expert in high-level transactional operations, Jesús has participated in asset finance deals, acquisition finance, debt restructurings, and project finance. His sector experience includes maritime, aviation, energy, and industrial, having acted as lead legal counsel on key mandates for clients such as Arcano, Abanca Corporación Bancaria, and Corporación Empresarial Pascual.

Before joining ECIJA, he was a partner at leading firms such as Mazars/DWF-RCD, EY Abogados, Baker McKenzie, and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

He began his career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the finance department, where he worked as a senior associate on highly structured transactions.

Jesús is recognised for his ability to lead legally complex transactions and for his strategic approach to structuring innovative financing solutions.
