Rui Ferreira Antunes

He is active in the areas of criminal and infringement law, advising individual and corporate clients in criminal and infringement proceedings, with a particular focus on economic-financial matters. He has accompanied processes of great social relevance, particularly in the context of the resolution and liquidation of credit institutions, an experience that began during his period at Vieira Advogados, between 2016 and 2019.

Since then, he has provided legal advice to several companies and individuals in negotiations with public and private institutions, in the field of credit recovery and restructuring with impact in the criminal or sanctioning field.

He currently acts as Counsel in the Professional Section of the Disciplinary Council of the Portuguese Football Federation. He is a member of the Association of Criminal Lawyers and is a member of the Braga Delegation of the Order of Lawyers for the three-year period 2023-2025.

He has been a member of Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2020.
