Lídia Neves
CounselLídia Neves is Counsel in the TMT Area and Head of the Intellectual Property Area.
From 2007 to 2013, she practised law at CCA Ontier and, between 2013 and 2023, she joined Miranda & Associados, specialising in the areas of Intellectual Property Law, TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) and Data Protection, with experience in several jurisdictions, including Portugal, all PALOP countries, several French-speaking African countries and East Timor.
Since 2012, Lídia has been an Official Industrial Property Attorney and European Trade Mark and Design Attorney. In 2015, she started acting as an arbitrator in disputes submitted to ARBITRARE - Arbitration Centre and, since 2022, she is an IP Scan expert at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
She is frequently invited to give courses and lectures in Portugal and abroad, and is also a regular presence in the media, especially in the press.
She is directly linked to several renowned associations and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Portuguese Language Lawyers (FALP), of the Board of Directors of the Association ProPública - Law and Citizenship, and of the Lisbon Regional Board of the National Association of Young Portuguese Lawyers (ANJAP).
He joined Antas da Cunha Ecija in 2023.
