Lídia Neves focuses her practice on Intellectual Property, Digital Contracting & Compliance, and Data Protection, with experience across several jurisdictions, including Portugal, all Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOP), various French-speaking African countries, and Timor-Leste.
From 2007 to 2013, she practised law at CCA Ontier and, between 2013 and 2023, she was part of the team at Miranda & Associados, further consolidating her expertise in these areas. Since 2012, she has been an Official Industrial Property Agent and a European Trade Mark and Design Attorney. In 2015, she began acting as an arbitrator in disputes submitted to ARBITRARE – Arbitration Centre and, since 2022, she has served as an IP Scan expert for the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
She is frequently invited to deliver courses and speak at conferences in Portugal and abroad and is also a regular presence in the media, particularly in the press. She is actively involved in several associations and currently serves as Board Member of the Federação de Advogados de Língua Portuguesa (FALP), Board Member of the Associação ProPública – Direito e Cidadania, and Board Member of the Lisbon Regional Directorate of the Associação Nacional de Jovens Advogados Portugueses (ANJAP). She has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2023.
