The Annual Leadership and Professional Development Workshop for MX Women Lawyers consolidates its relevance in the national legal agenda.
On 9 October, a new edition of the Annual Leadership and Professional Development Workshop was held, organised by Abogadas MX, one of the most influential initiatives for the development of legal talent in Mexico.
The event brought together more than 500 legal professionals at the Westin Santa Fe Hotel, in a day dedicated to strengthening leadership skills, promoting collaborative networks and generating in-depth conversations about the future of the legal profession.
With the theme "The Law of the Future", the workshop included presentations and panels led by high-profile voices such as Jonathan Brill, internationally recognised futurist; Carolina Angarita, digital transformation expert; and Angélica Flechas, leadership and diversity consultant.
The sessions addressed topics such as technological disruption in legal practice, purposeful leadership, wellbeing in professional practice and the transformation of legal culture to make it more inclusive and resilient.
This forum has positioned itself as a key platform to anticipate trends, break traditional paradigms and make visible the growing role of women as agents of change in the legal sector.
In this edition, ECIJA Mexico was represented by Berenice Sagaón Falcón, partner of the firm and specialist in data protection and regulatory compliance, who participated as part of the legal community committed to a more innovative, ethical and diverse professional practice.
