Labour Radar No. 003: the changes shaping the labour agenda in Chile
September brought significant developments for the world of work. In this third edition of Labour Radar, ECIJA Chile’s Labour team reviews the month’s key developments and their implications for organisations.
Among the topics analysed are the strengthening of the Labour Courts, progress on the Universal Nursery Scheme bill and new rulings by the Labour Directorate on the current regulations, as well as the bill relating to the misuse of sick leave and breaches of integrity.
This edition also addresses the parameters set for the Unified Employment Subsidy, a recent ruling by the Santiago Court of Appeal on dismissal on grounds of business necessity, and the Labour Directorate’s criteria regarding the limits applicable to changes in targets, commissions, bonuses and other variable incentives.
Radar Laboral is a publication produced by the Labour team at ECIJA Chile, aimed at transforming current legal developments into practical, reliable and easy-to-understand information for organisations.
