ECIJA has received 11 nominations for The Legal 500 Iberia Awards 2026

ECIJA has been nominated in 11 categories for the The Legal 500 Iberia Awards 2026, an awards programme that recognises excellence among law firms and legal professionals in Spain and Portugal.

Among the nominations, ECIJA’s nomination for TMT Firm of the Year stands out, an award that reinforces the firm’s leadership in technology, media, and telecommunications, after being recently recognised by *Expansión* as the Best Firm in Technology and Artificial Intelligence.

ECIJA has also been nominated for Law Firm of the Year – Portugal, Client Satisfaction, consolidating its position in the Iberian market and the recognition of its clients' trust.

Individually, the following have been nominated: Teresa Pereyra, in the category of Rising Star Partner in Privacy and Data Protection; Daniel López, in the category of Lawyer of the Year in Privacy and Data Protection; Librado Loriente, in the category of Rising Star Partner in Dispute Resolution; Víctor Moralo, in Environmental – Lawyer of the Year; Cristina Villasante, in TMT – Rising Star Partner; Pablo Jiménez de Parga, in White-Collar Crimes – Lawyer of the Year; José Luís da Cruz Vilaça, in EU and Competition Law – Lawyer of the Year and Lawyer of the Year – Portugal; and Alejandro Touriño, in Lawyer of the Year.

These 11 nominations recognise the talent of ECIJA's teams, the trust their clients place in them, and the firm's ability to lead some of the most strategic areas of the legal market, ranging from technology, privacy and data protection to dispute resolution, environmental law, competition law, white-collar crimes, and innovation in legal service delivery.

The winners will be announced on 26 November 2026, during the gala of the The Legal 500 Iberia Awards, which will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Madrid.
