ECIJA, among the leading firms at the Legal Geek Awards 2026 with eight nominations

ECIJA has received eight nominations for the Legal Geek Leaders in Tech Law Awards 2026, becoming the Spanish firm with the highest number of nominations in this year's edition. The awards, organized in collaboration with Law.com and with Harvey as the main sponsor, will take place on 14 October in London.

The firm has been shortlisted in the categories of Exceptional Collaboration, alongside CaixaBank; Best Use of AI; Innovation in Knowledge Management; Innovation in Client Management; Most Innovative International Law Firm; Regulation, Governance and Compliance Technology; Technology for Good; and Women Leaders in Technology, with the nomination of Rocío Catalá, director of Legal Innovation at ECIJA.

The nominations reinforce the strategy 'Full AI Firm' of ECIJA , which is based on the transversal integration of artificial intelligence in the provision of legal services, knowledge management, client relationships, and the internal processes of the firm.

Among the recognized projects, collaboration with CaixaBank stands out, aiming to transform its legal function towards an AI-centered model. The initiative combines technology, legal operations, governance, knowledge management, and change management to redesign the operational model of the legal department and prepare its information architecture for the safe and scalable use of artificial intelligence solutions.

The Legal Geek Leaders in Tech Law Awards recognize law firms, teams, and professionals leading the transformation of the legal sector through technology and innovation.
