ECIJA is advising Catorce Comunicación on the launch of ‘Cosas nuestras’, the new weekend magazine programme on RTVE’s La 1
Last Saturday, 3 October, RTVE’s La 1 premiered ‘Cosas nuestras’, the new weekend afternoon current affairs and entertainment programme. The programme, presented by Aida Bao and Aitor Albizua, is broadcast live on La 1 and RTVE Play and is produced by RTVE in collaboration with Catorce Comunicación.
ECIJA has supported Catorce Comunicación since the project’s inception, providing comprehensive legal and employment advice in which it has applied the regulations governing the special employment relationship of performers in public entertainment and the practices specific to the audiovisual sector to the particularities of a live broadcast programme.
The firm’s work has encompassed the recruitment of presenters, contributors, reporters and technical staff; the drafting of contract templates tailored to each professional profile and the applicable regulatory framework; payroll management and employment administration; as well as ongoing support throughout the production’s entire employment cycle.
The project was led by Macarena Miranda, a partner specialising in Audiovisual Employment Law at ECIJA, with the support of her team, in particular associate Emma Ruth Santora Flores. It has also involved the participation of Raúl Rojas, the partner responsible for client relations, and Jaime Otero, a member of his team.
