ECIJA incorporates Carlos de la Pedraja as corporate general director
The firm continues to strengthen its executive team after a year marked by international expansion, the integration of new offices in Spain, Portugal and Latin America and the incorporation of top-level executive profiles, consolidating a global, efficient and cohesive management model.
With a career of over twenty years in the legal sector, De la Pedraja joins ECIJA with the aim of enhancing its organizational and operational model on a global scale, bringing a strategic, integrative and business-oriented vision.
From his new position, Carlos de la Pedraja will work closely with the Presidency and Management of ECIJA in defining and executing key initiatives for the firm’s growth and international positioning. Among his main responsibilities is supporting the management of ECIJA in inorganic strategic growth as well as leading and coordinating corporate areas, ensuring integrated, efficient management that aligns with the organization's global strategy.
Likewise, he will drive the professionalization and standardization of internal processes, promoting operational efficiency and the scalability of the model in the 18 jurisdictions where ECIJA is currently present. De la Pedraja will also ensure excellence in talent management, promote the firm's digital transformation in line with its strategy as a Full AI Firm, and strengthen the communication, business development and international growth strategy, consolidating ECIJA as one of the reference firms in the legal-tech field and in the digital economy.
Professional trajectory
Graduated in Law from the University of Oviedo, with postgraduate studies at IE University, Carlos de la Pedraja has developed much of his professional career in leadership positions at the IE University Law School, where he served as deputy dean and general director, and at Ontier, where he led international expansion processes, inorganic growth and cultural transformation in his role as global corporate director.
His profile combines strategic vision, execution capability and a deep understanding of the legal business, which will allow him to contribute decisively to strengthening ECIJA's management model and consolidating its international growth.
