ECIJA Ecuador participates in the Public-Private Dialogue of the Petroleum Commission (COMPETRO)

ECIJA GPA was part of the meeting held between representatives of the private sector and energy authorities, with the aim of strengthening the development of the oil sector in the country. The firm was represented by Gonzalo González Galarza and Paola Robalino Rosero.

ECIJA Ecuador participated in a working session organised by the Petroleum Commission (COMPETRO) of the Quito Chamber of Commerce, which addressed proposals for the strengthening and sustainability of the oil sector in Ecuador.


The firm was represented by its managing partner, Gonzalo González Galarza, in his capacity as president of COMPETRO, and by partner Paola Robalino Rosero, who actively participated in the exchange of ideas and proposals.


The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Production, Foreign Trade and Investment, Andrés Robalino Jaramillo; the Deputy Minister of Hydrocarbons, Eduardo Racines; and the Undersecretary of Administration of Hydrocarbon Contracts and Assigned Areas, Adriana Guerrero.


During the session, initiatives focused on promoting investment, improving competitiveness and guaranteeing the sustainability of the energy sector, through a technical and constructive dialogue between the public and private sectors.


The meeting was chaired by Monica Heller, President of the Quito Chamber of Commerce, together with Gonzalo Gonzalez Galarza, reaffirming the private sector's commitment to the construction of collaborative work spaces and the promotion of policies that promote the responsible development of the oil sector in the country.
