ECIJA shortlisted in five categories for The Lawyer European Awards 2023

ECIJA has been shortlisted in five categories in The Lawyer European Awards 2023 presented by the British publication The Lawyer. These awards recognize essential aspects such as strategy, innovation in client service, talent management, financial performance, and transactions advised upon in recent months.

ECIJA is a finalist in the following five categories:

• Law firm of the year: Iberia
• European specialist law firm of the year - Digital Economy
• Best client service initiative - ECIJA Tech
• Best Pro bono initiative - ECIJA advises GREENPEACE on Spain’s largest environmental class action to date
• Best ESG Initiative - ECIJA for the Planet

In addition to the usual categories, four new awards have been introduced in this edition: Best transformation initiative, Pro bono initiative of the year, Best client services innovation, and European general counsel of the year, and ECIJA has been shortlisted two of these new categories.

More than 250 entries from 120 firms and organisations have been submitted as the battle begins to claim one or more of the 27 prizes that are up for grabs.

The winners will be announced at the gala at JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Thursday 23 November 2023.

In 2022, our Managing Partner, Alejandro Touriño  was named European Managing Partner of the Year.
