ECIJA Ecuador present at IFA Latam's XVI Regional Congress in Guatemala
Paola Robalino Rosero, Angelo Cárdenas Farías, Jessica Dillon and Rodrigo Herrera, members of the Tax and Advisory areas of ECIJA Ecuador, are present in La Antigua Guatemala on the occasion of the XVI Regional Congress of IFA Latam, an event that will be held between 6 and 8 May 2026 and which brings together the main international tax law leaders in the region.
The Regional Congress of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) for Latin America is a space of reference for analysis and technical debate on the latest trends in international taxation, tax policy and regulatory compliance. This year's edition takes place in the historic setting of La Antigua Guatemala, a city declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
The participation of ECIJA Ecuador professionals in this congress reflects the firm's commitment to continuous training and permanent updating in a constantly evolving international tax environment. Having an active presence in forums of this magnitude allows the team to strengthen collaboration networks with experts from all over the region and to transfer this knowledge to the advice provided to clients.
As part of this visit, the team also had the opportunity to visit the offices of ECIJA Guatemala, strengthening the ties of collaboration between the different offices of the firm in the region and reinforcing the integration of ECIJA's Latin American network.
