ECIJA Ecuador receives 26 nominations at The Latin American Lawyer Energy & Infrastructure Awards 2026

ECIJA Ecuador has been named among the finalists for The Latin American Lawyer Energy & Infrastructure Awards 2026, consolidating its leadership in providing legal advice on energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America.

ECIJA Ecuador has been shortlisted for The Latin American Lawyer Energy & Infrastructure Awards 2026, organised by The Latin American Lawyer (Iberian Legal Group), which recognise the firms and professionals with the strongest track record and greatest impact in the energy and infrastructure sectors in Latin America.


In this year’s edition, the firm has been shortlisted in 13 categories, reflecting the strength of its practice and the expertise of its team in advising on strategic projects relating to energy, infrastructure, project finance, arbitration, litigation, regulation, innovation and corporate transactions.


Furthermore, ECIJA Ecuador has received 13 individual nominations recognising the track record and leadership of its professionals. Gonzalo González Galarza, the firm’s founding partner, has been nominated in 11 individual categories, highlighting his expertise in innovation, energy, infrastructure, oil and gas, renewable energy, energy efficiency, arbitration, litigation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and project finance. Joining him in this recognition are Paola Robalino, nominated for Professional of the Year – Energy Tax, and Michael Veintimilla, nominated for Lawyer of the Year – Regulatory & Antitrust.
