ECIJA Ecuador gave workshop on AI and data protection to the Attorney General's Office of Ecuador

ECIJA Ecuador delivered a specialised workshop to the Attorney General's Office on Artificial Intelligence and Personal Data Protection, from a technical and legal approach.

The workshop was developed by the firm's Personal Data Protection and LegalTech team, addressing issues related to data governance, regulatory risks, compliance, accountability and challenges associated with the use of tools based on artificial intelligence.

During the event, aspects related to privacy, personal data processing and risk management in technological environments were also analysed, considering the progress of digital transformation and the development of new technologies in the public sector.

The activity was part of the training and analysis spaces promoted to strengthen knowledge on digital regulation and data protection in Ecuador.
