ECIJA Chile in the media: Alfredo Moreno addresses the challenges of the new Data Protection Law

Our Managing Partner of ECIJA Chile, Alfredo Moreno, recently participated with a letter published in El Líbero and Diario Constitucional, where he addressed the imminent entry into force of Law No. 21.719, which amends Law No. 19.628 on personal data protection in Chile. In his commentary, Alfredo warns that the new regulation in Chile, which will come into force on 1 December 2026, represents a structural change in the way companies will have to deal with the processing of personal data.
