Photographs, social media accounts, web domains, cryptocurrencies or monetised content on digital platforms are part of the wealth of millions of people, but few know what will happen to them after they die.
Mauricio París, technology, media and telecommunications lawyer at ECIJA in Costa Rica explains in his interview for El Financiero Costa Rica that: "these assets exist only in electronic format, outside the physical world, but they represent rights and information within the digital sphere of each individual".
