Christian Molina, a partner at ECIJA in the Dominican Republic, featured in an interview with IFLR
In the interview entitled “I never wanted to be a lawyer”, Molina reflects on how his career in law was not a planned decision, but rather the result of an organic process that ultimately linked him closely to the development of the country’s trust framework.
He currently heads ECIJA’s Trust practice, co-leads the Financial Services and Capital Markets divisions, and serves as CEO of ECIJA Holdco LatAm.
He also oversees a multidisciplinary team working on wealth structuring, property, capital markets and project finance.
In his conversation with IFLR, Mr Molina also discusses market trends, including the growing use of trusts as structuring vehicles for capital markets transactions, property development and corporate finance, as well as the main challenges faced by family businesses in terms of access to capital and generational succession.
