In a letter to the editor published in Estado Diario, Alfredo Moreno, managing partner of ECIJA Chile, reflects on the challenges and opportunities posed by the new Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 21.757).

The forthcoming entry into force of Law No. 21.719 on Personal Data Protection represents a milestone for privacy and compliance in Chile. In his letter to the editor published in Estado Diario, Alfredo Moreno warns that, despite the regulatory advances, the country still faces significant challenges to achieve an effective implementation.
