Last Wednesday, February 25, the Legislative Assembly approved in first debate file No. 23.908, "Law for the protection of consumers in the custody of their money", a reform that redefines the liability regime of financial institutions against electronic fraud and positions cybersecurity as a determining element for the exemption from legal liability.
