Antas da Cunha ECIJA welcomes five new lawyers
Antas da Cunha Écija has just announced the strengthening of its legal team with the addition of five new lawyers: Sérgio Fagundes Conceição, Inês Dias de Pinho, João Vaz Teiga, Marta Albuquerque Coelho, and Luís Correia da Silva.
Sérgio Fagundes Conceição and Inês Dias de Pinho will reinforce the Real Estate and Urban Planning Practice Area.
Sérgio Fagundes Conceição joins the firm as a senior associate from Cuatrecasas. He has extensive experience advising clients on the national and international structuring of their investments, as well as in the development of the corresponding real estate transactions, particularly in the cross-sectional follow-up of high-profile residential, commercial, and tourist real estate projects. Since 2018, he has been a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, in the areas of Family and Succession Law.
Inês Dias de Pinho has worked at RFF Abogados in recent years. She joins Antas da Cunha Écija as an associate. In recent years, she has participated in various due diligence processes related to the acquisition of commercial enterprises and real estate acquisition processes, and has advised several clients regarding their real estate investment contracts. She also has experience in overseeing negotiations and representing clients in these processes, including reviewing relevant contracts and analyzing them from a transactional tax perspective. She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Lisbon School) and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Corporate Governance at the Private Law Research Centre of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
João Vaz Teiga and Luís Correia da Silva will join the Immigration and Citizenship Practice Area. Both are joining the firm as associates. The lawyers focus their practice mainly on issues related to obtaining residence permits and other procedures before the Portuguese immigration authorities, ensuring investigation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Before joining Antas da Cunha Écija,João Vaz Teiga worked at LegalSquare and Ana Bruno & Associados.
Luís Correia da Silva joins from Dower Law Firm, where he coordinated the Criminal Law and Administrative Offences and Family and Succession Law departments. He holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto. From the same higher education institution, he has also completed two short courses: in Forensic Medicine and in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, and a master's degree in Legal and Criminal Sciences. In 2025, he completed a course in Criminal Compliance at the Institute of Economic and European Criminal Law.
Marta Albuquerque Coelho was an intern at Bankinter and DLA Piper. Her practice focuses on Intellectual Property, with a particular emphasis on advising on copyright and related rights, image rights and trademarks, including the registration and maintenance of trademarks and domain names, drafting contracts and licensing agreements, and managing intellectual property litigation. She also collaborates with the Privacy and Cybersecurity area, providing support on personal data protection and compliance matters. She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of ESADE (Barcelona) and has a master's in Law of ICT, Social Networks, and Intellectual Property, and has completed the course “Theory and Practice of Personal Data Protection,” taught by the Faculty of Law of NOVA. She joins Antas da Cunha Écija as an associate.
