Notification system update – Migration to TAD platform
On 5 December 2025, the Directorate-General for Consumer Protection and Defence (DGDyPC), which reports to the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, informed companies of a significant change to its official communications system. According to the notification sent by email, Provision 4366/20, which regulated the Electronic Notification System, will cease to be in force, and from now on all communications and notifications will be made exclusively through the Remote Procedures (TAD) platform.
Although the communication did not set a specific date for the entry into force of this new modality, the DGDyPC recommended joining the system as soon as possible in order to avoid the loss of important notifications and ensure the correct receipt of future official communications related to administrative actions and consumer complaints.
The procedure reported by the authority includes two essential steps. First, access to the City Government's TAD platform, where each company or its representative can operate within the official digital environment. Second, registration as a "TAD Person," an essential requirement for notifications addressed to the company's CUIT to be received in the "Notifications and Communications" inbox. For cases where necessary, the DGDyPC reminded users that the platform allows for the appointment of representatives for legal entities, emphasising the importance of completing this process correctly to ensure the validity of communications.
This change is part of a technological migration process that seeks to unify and optimise the management of complaints and submissions made by consumers, ensuring traceability, accessibility and greater administrative efficiency.
The DGDyPC apologised for any inconvenience this transition process may cause and reiterated its willingness to answer any additional queries.
