Tiago Cochofel de Azevedo

His practice focuses on all matters of an employment nature, with a particular focus on Labour Technology, multinational companies, international labour relations, employee mobility and employee incentives. She has extensive experience advising clients in Portugal and throughout the European Union, as well as in Angola, Cape Verde and East Timor.

He trained and worked in the Labour Department of Simmons & Simmons in Portugal from 2004 to 2011. Subsequently, he joined the Labour Department of Vieira de Almeida & Associados, where he worked as an Associate and, subsequently, as Managing Associate, between 2011 and 2023.

He is currently a lecturer at the Lisbon Law School of the Universidade Lusófona, teaching Labour Law in the undergraduate course, as well as Labour Restructuring in the Postgraduate Course in Preventive Recovery and Sustainability of Companies. He also participates as a speaker in conferences related to Labour Law and Human Resources.

He is a member of APODIT (Portuguese Association of Labour Law), Vice-President of AJJ (Association of Young Labour Lawyers) and member of the Social Sciences and Jurisprudence Section of the Geographical Society of Lisbon.

He joined Antas da Cunha Ecija in 2023.
