Rodolfo Porte is a partner at ECIJA Chile and has an outstanding track record in corporate tax law, business restructuring and wealth planning

With extensive experience advising companies, family groups and high-net-worth clients, he has built his professional practice around domestic and international tax planning, complex corporate structures, business reorganisation processes and the strategic resolution of tax disputes.

He previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service and subsequently served as a senior manager at EY, leading tax advisory teams and actively contributing to technical publications, training programmes and specialist tax projects.

His practice combines a strategic and technical approach to tax law, enabling him to support clients in complex situations and in making decisions that are crucial to their businesses and wealth.

In the academic sphere, he has built an extensive teaching career in tax law and tax planning, lecturing at various universities and postgraduate programmes, including the University of Chile and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

He is also a member of the Chilean Bar Association, founder of the Chilean branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and a member of the Chilean Institute of Tax Law.
