Rebeca Montealegre

Rebeca is a solicitor and notary public with 22 years of professional experience, specialising in corporate law, real estate and regulatory compliance. Throughout her career, she has advised local and international companies on company incorporation processes, corporate governance, real estate transactions, purchase and sale closings, structuring of legal vehicles and comprehensive support in commercial operations.

In recent years, she has expanded her practice to include regulatory compliance and money laundering prevention, developing manuals, risk matrices, internal policies, KYC forms, and governance structures for APNFD, in line with Costa Rican regulations. This new area of specialisation has allowed her to advise companies on the implementation of risk-based compliance models and the adoption of international best practices.

His notable projects include providing legal direction for several real estate developments, coordinating closings for foreign clients, and implementing money laundering prevention programmes for companies in the service sector.
