Pedro Archer Cameira

Pedro Archer Cameira focuses his practice on Credit Recovery and Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring, with particular emphasis on the strategic definition and management of debt collection and restructuring proceedings, as well as the handling of related disputes.

After completing his law degree, he began his professional career with a traineeship at Graça Moura & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, dedicated to litigation, credit recovery, insolvency, and corporate restructuring matters, which he completed in 2003. He subsequently joined the firm as an associate lawyer, within the structure that later became Jorge Carneiro & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados, S.P., R.L., where he designed and implemented the banking credit recovery department before moving into the litigation practice in 2005.

In 2019, he became a partner at Jorge Carneiro & Associados, focusing his practice on litigation and assuming responsibility for the credit recovery and insolvency and corporate restructuring departments. He regularly collaborates as a consultant with several media outlets, particularly in the field of civil litigation, and is also invited to serve as a member of the examination panel in Portuguese Bar Association admission assessments. He has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2021.
