Miguel Ángel is a lawyer specialised in Intellectual Property and Corporate Law, with more than 25 years of experience advising national and international companies.

Throughout his career he has accompanied companies from different sectors in the design of comprehensive IP protection strategies, aligned with business objectives and national and international regulatory frameworks. He has solid experience in the management of trademark portfolios, copyright defence, dispute resolution and legal structuring of intangible assets, as well as in corporate law matters related to the exploitation and transfer of such assets.


He is a Certified Intellectual Property Expert by the Ministry of Public Education and has actively participated in projects related to the harmonisation and application of international intellectual property standards, collaborating with organisations such as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI). He has also held institutional leadership roles, including as Deputy Coordinator of the Working Group on the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Registration of Marks (Nice Agreement), and acts as an accredited mediator in trade and intellectual property negotiations before the Mexico City Chamber of Commerce.
