Martha is a partner specialising in employment law, with over twenty years’ experience advising national and international companies on the management of their labour relations
Her practice covers employment consultancy, litigation, labour inspections, audits and due diligence, collective bargaining, health and safety at work, social security and the recruitment of foreign staff. She combines a legal perspective with in-depth knowledge of business management, drawn from her previous experience as a Head of Human Resources and in-house employment lawyer, which enables her to understand first-hand the challenges organisations face in managing their teams.
Since 2011, she has been a partner at ECIJA Peru — formerly Berninzon & Benavides Abogados — where she leads the employment law practice and advises clients across various sectors on preventing legal risks, managing complex employment matters and designing solutions aligned with their business objectives.
