Manuel Asenjo is the CIO of ECIJA, where he leads the technological strategy of the firm, integrating systems, cybersecurity, automation, artificial intelligence, and internal platforms to maximize operational efficiency and digital resilience. His work focuses on aligning technological infrastructure with business objectives, promoting a culture of security, innovation, and risk management in a highly regulated professional environment.
He has over 25 years of professional experience in the fields of technology and digital transformation. Prior to his current role, he was the Head of Technology at Broseta, where he led projects to modernize cybersecurity, processes, and technological tools. Previously, he worked in law firms such as Eversheds Sutherland, where he expanded his experience in technological management and information security. His professional career also includes consulting and technology leadership positions that have allowed him to develop an integrated view of technology within legal service organizations.
Manuel is recognized for his attention to data protection, the adoption of disruptive technologies, and the creation of collaborative communities within the sector. He is a member of Inkietos, advisor to the Global LegalTech Hub, a cyber collaborator with INCIBE, and a co-organizer of Legal Hackers Madrid, initiatives that promote innovation and the exchange of technical knowledge among technology leaders in the legaltech sector.
