Luís Branco Lopes is Counsel in the Labour and Social Security Area.

Luís Branco Lopes focuses his practice on Labour Law and Labour Litigation, with particular emphasis on employment advisory work and the strategic management of contentious matters, including in the context of restructurings and labour disputes.

He began his professional career in 2008 with a summer internship at PLMJ. In 2009, he joined Garrigues as a Junior Associate and later specialised in Labour Law, becoming a Senior Associate in 2017. In 2019, he founded the law firm BLMP, where he coordinated the Labour Law and Litigation practice areas.

He regularly contributes to legal publications in the fields of Labour Law and Sports Law and is frequently invited to speak at international conferences and to teach practical classes on Labour Law. Since 2021, he has held a Certificate of Pedagogical Competences as a certified trainer. He has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2021.
