Justo Garzón

Justo Garzón is the global director of Legal Operations, where he leads the development and standardization of operational models focused on efficiency, compliance, and risk management, contributing to excellence in the provision of legal services and the creation of value for clients and teams.

A lawyer with over two decades of experience, he has spent much of his career at the Iberdrola Group, where he has held various management positions in the legal department. During this period, he was one of the driving forces behind the transformation of the legal and corporate governance functions of the group, and he led the modernization and standardization of legal processes on a global scale. He also directed strategic efficiency and transformation projects, including Project Darwin, a global initiative to optimize legal services.

During his time abroad, he served as the Head of Legal Services for Iberdrola in Brazil, where he oversaw expansion and consolidation processes in Latin America. Subsequently, he took charge of legal advice on regulatory compliance and corporate governance for the group's subsidiaries, providing a comprehensive view of the legal function as a strategic partner for the business.

He has been a member of the board of directors of Neoenergia, Iberdrola's subsidiary in Brazil, and has participated in several audit, compliance, and corporate governance committees, reinforcing his profile as a prominent figure in advanced legal management models.
