José Francisco Madrigal

With over 30 years’ experience in defending defendants and victims in criminal cases, and specialising in criminal law, he has developed a particular expertise in economic criminal law, covering everything from property offences to tax and customs offences, and has acquired extensive knowledge of accounting concepts, financial reports, business administration, financial concepts, securities, stock markets and other related disciplines. This facilitates Mr Madrigal’s ability to devise the legal strategy for your case, drawing on his extensive professional expertise in the non-criminal aspects surrounding this type of offence.  

He has lectured on Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the Latin American University of Science and Technology and the Catholic University of Costa Rica.
