Joana Pinto

She practices in Technology Transactions and Technology Law, focusing on AI regulation and governance, negotiation of technology contracts, and corporate governance. She has extensive experience advising on highly complex technology transactions in the public and private sectors, both nationally and internationally.
With over 25 years of professional experience, she built her career in major tech multinationals and advising senior executives, aligning legal strategies with business goals and mitigating risks. For 17 years, she led the Legal Department at Accenture Portugal as part of the Executive Committee and was responsible for Accenture’s legal operations in Angola and Mozambique. Previously, she served as In-House Counsel at Capgemini, Sonaecom, and Optimus, and as legal advisor to the Secretary of State to the Minister of Internal Administration in the XVI Constitutional Government.
She is the author of opinion articles on law applied to technology and a regular speaker at national and international conferences on topics such as artificial intelligence and its legal challenges.
She has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2025.
