Javier Pacheco

Javier is also a corporate lawyer and real estate law specialist with over twenty years of experience advising on educational, commercial, and registration matters. 

Throughout his career, he has led and supported complex processes involving applications, negotiations, contract preparation and review, as well as financing structuring, trusts, government affairs, mergers and acquisitions, private law, and education law.

He is known for his leadership, teamwork, and strategic approach, as well as his strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

He has played a key role in the regional process that enabled Laureate to become a public company listed on NASDAQ, leading the implementation of new application processes and the preparation and review of contracts associated with that operation. He has also been directly involved in major educational infrastructure projects in the region, including the construction of the Universidad Latina campus in Heredia, the development of the new UIP campus in Panama, and the construction of the Universidad Latina Health Sciences Building, consolidating his experience in high-impact, large-scale projects.
