Gabriel Dejarden
Partner & NOLA Region DirectorGabriel DeJarden is a Partner at ECIJA Dominican Republic, where he serves as Co-Managing Partner, and also leads the firm’s NOLA (North Latin America) region, while being a member of the firm’s global Executive Committee.
His practice focuses on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, real estate and tourism law, energy, and labor law. He regularly advises international companies with a presence in the Dominican Republic and the broader Ibero-American region.
He provides strategic advisory services to clients from the United States, Latin America, and Europe on commercial, labor, real estate, and financial transactions. He also represents companies in both domestic and cross-border transactions and advises on commercial real estate projects, energy matters, audits, commercial contracts, asset acquisitions, and purchase and sale transactions.
He was a professor of Business Practice in the Master’s in Corporate Business and International Litigation program, delivered by the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Santo Domingo in collaboration with Universidad Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid.
He is a member of the Dominican Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Madrid International Arbitration Center, as well as the Ibero-American Arbitration Center (CIAM–CIAR).
He has held leadership roles within the American Bar Association (ABA) and has participated as a speaker in seminars organized by FINJUS and Gaceta Judicial. His professional trajectory has been recognized by international directories such as Chambers Global, Chambers Latin America, The Legal 500, and IFLR1000.
