Fernando Rubio

Head of Tax at SERTE ECONOMISTAS Y ABOGADOS, S.A.P. since its foundation in 1986, his in-depth knowledge of the Spanish tax system has made him a leading figure within the firm in tax matters. Specialising in providing comprehensive advisory services to businesses, private individuals and public authorities, he works alongside the Economic and Commercial Departments to oversee decisions on company restructuring, growth planning and corporate strategies.

A member of the Register of Forensic Economists of the General Council of Economists, he served as a member of its National Council until 2025. He prepares expert reports at the request of private individuals and courts in La Rioja and the Basque Country. He also acts as an insolvency administrator, having been appointed in over 40 insolvency proceedings, and plays an active role in filing insolvency petitions for companies in financial difficulty.
