Ernesto is a lawyer specialised in Intellectual Property and associated litigation, with more than 25 years of experience advising national and international companies.
He is counsel in the Intellectual Property area of ECIJA Mexico, where he advises individuals and companies, both national and foreign, in matters related to patents, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks, commercial notices, trade names and copyrights, as well as in administrative litigation related to these matters. His practice focuses on the definition of strategies for the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, accompanying his clients in the comprehensive management of their portfolios and in the resolution of complex conflicts.
Throughout his career he has been involved in international matters, advising, among others, companies on the expansion and protection of their rights in Mexico and Latin America, in sectors such as the chemical industry, marine ecology and the pharmaceutical and veterinary fields. His fluency in Spanish and English allows him to participate in high-profile disputes in cross-border contexts.
He combines his professional activity with outstanding academic work and has been a recognised professor at the Universidad Anáhuac Norte for several years.
