Erika is a Senior Associate at ECIJA Dominican Republic and a member of the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice

Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, advising local and international clients on complex disputes, contractual breaches, and conflict resolution strategies.

She has participated in judicial and arbitral proceedings involving highly complex corporate and commercial disputes, providing strategic guidance throughout all stages of the proceedings and in the assessment of legal contingencies.

In addition, Erika maintains an active involvement in academic initiatives and international forums related to international commercial arbitration. She has served as a guest arbitrator in international arbitration competitions and moot court simulations, contributing to programs aimed at the practical training of future legal professionals and the advancement of academic development in the field of arbitration.

Erika has been recognized by Chambers and Partners in both Chambers Latin America and Chambers Global for two consecutive years, including being distinguished as an “Associate to Watch” in the area of Dispute Resolution in the Dominican Republic for her client commitment and strategic handling of complex disputes. In addition, in the 2026 edition of the Global Guide to Leaders in Sports Law (Sports Law Experts), she was recognized as a Leading Lawyer for the Dominican Republic, reflecting her growing expertise and outstanding practice in sports law.

Most recently, she participated as co-author of the Best Practices Manual for Legal Departments 2025 | Foreign Trade, presented during the Latin American Congress of Legal Departments.
