Diana de los Santos is an Associate at ECIJA Dominican Republic, with a practice focused on Corporate Law & M&A, Real Estate & Tourism, and Administrative and Regulatory Law

She has experience advising both domestic and international clients on corporate, regulatory, and real estate matters, with an emphasis on transaction execution and legal support for operations involving multi-sector components. She has participated in mergers and acquisitions processes, legal due diligence, corporate reorganizations, and investment structuring.

Her practice also includes advising clients on authorization, registration, and compliance processes before administrative authorities and regulatory bodies, including the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications, the Superintendence of Electricity, the Ministry of Finance, and the Superintendence of Insurance.

She also advises on the obtaining of tax exemptions and incentives, as well as other administrative processes related to the development and operation of projects.

In the real estate area, she is involved in the negotiation, structuring, and execution of transactions related to commercial developments and real estate assets, including due diligence processes and transaction-related risk analysis.

Diana was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue studies at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she deepened her knowledge in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, financial regulation, regulatory compliance, and the U.S. legal system. As part of this experience, she completed an internship at the Ohio Ethics Commission, gaining experience in public ethics, government transparency, and compliance matters.
