Daniel is an expert in privacy, digital regulation and compliance, with experience in technology law and information security

Daniel is a lawyer with extensive experience in technology law, data protection and regulatory compliance. He has over eighteen years’ experience advising public and private organisations on privacy, digital regulation and information security, establishing himself as a leading expert in the field.

He is a member of the Expert Group of the European Data Protection Board and has led key initiatives, such as spearheading the Ibero-American Data Protection Observatory, where he has directed studies on data protection legislation and data processing in the region. His contribution has been recognised by bodies such as the Spanish Data Protection Agency and the Basque Data Protection Agency, which have awarded him prizes in the research category.

In addition to his professional practice, Daniel carries out outstanding academic work as Academic Director of the Master’s Degree in Data Protection and Security at Nebrija University and as an associate professor at IE. He also lectures at various Spanish and Ibero-American universities and is a regular contributor to specialist legal publications.
