Lawyer specialised in commercial, civil and criminal litigation, as well as public concessions.

She began her professional career at a law firm specialising in criminal and traffic law, where she gained experience in litigation, procedural strategy and investigation. She subsequently expanded her professional practice to the areas of civil and commercial law, as well as her experience in litigation, negotiation and conflict resolution in those areas. In addition, she has provided legal advice on condominiums, including administration, internal regulations and co-ownership relationships.

Carolina graduated with honours from the University of Costa Rica Law School, with an emphasis on forensic sciences.

During her training, Carolina developed a solid theoretical and practical background in different branches of law, notably writing a thesis on thecomparison between civil proceedings in ordinary criminal proceedings and ordinary civil proceedings. A chapter on precautionary measures was extracted from this work and published in the IUS Doctrina Law Review in 2023.
