Principal AssociateAlfonso is a lawyer specialized in the securities, corporate, and financial markets, with experience in complex operations at both national and international levels.
Throughout his career, he has advised listed and unlisted companies, as well as financial and banking entities, on a wide range of capital market operations, including tender offers, public offerings, share issues, bond issues (corporate, convertible, green, high yield, promissory notes), and securitization operations (RMBS and car loans). He has been involved in large-scale operations, such as business demergers and initial public offerings, providing strategic legal solutions to facilitate financing and business expansion.
His practice also extends to general advice on Corporate Law and corporate governance, participating in board secretariats, general meetings, structural modifications, corporate reorganizations, and related transactions. Alfonso brings a technical and practical approach to his clients, aiming to ensure legal security and regulatory efficiency in their corporate and financial processes.
Notable Experience
- ECIJA advises FCC on the demerger of its real estate and cement businesses for an amount of 1.596 billion euros, and to Inmocemento, the beneficiary of the demerger, on its initial public offering valued at 1.933 billion euros
- ECIJA advises PRISA on the issuance of convertible bonds of up to 100 million euros
- ECIJA advises FCC in the context of the public acquisition offer (OPA) made by FCC for its own shares for an amount exceeding 400 million euros
