Alejandro Londoño

Alejandro is a lawyer and consultant specialized in data protection and new technologies, with a solid experience in the public sector.

He has a distinguished career at the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, where he served as an advisor to the Office of the Superintendent Delegate for Personal Data Protection. During his time at this entity, he also held, in a charge capacity, high-responsibility positions such as Director of Habeas Data, Director of Personal Data Protection Investigations, and Superintendent Delegate for Personal Data Protection. From these positions, he led the formulation of public policy, accompanied legislative processes, and directed investigations on national and foreign companies regarding privacy and data processing.

Alejandro combines his professional practice with teaching and academic outreach. He is a chair professor of Private Law at the University of the Andes, as well as a professor in the Master's in Law, Technology and Digital Society at the same institution. He is also a frequent guest at conferences and publications on personal data and privacy.
