Agustín López

He has more than 20 years of experience advising agents, clubs, athletes, federations and investment funds, both in Uruguay and internationally. His practice focuses on sports law, corporate law, tax, estate and succession planning, family office, wealth management, private banking and fiduciary services.

Agustín advises foreign funds on their establishment in Uruguay, helping them to obtain tax benefits and structure competitive transactions in the region. He also actively participates in club acquisitions, M&A transactions, real estate investments and new technology projects.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ibero-American Institute of Sports Law and is a lecturer at the Pons Foundation Business School (Madrid) and at the Universitas Foundation for students from all over Latin America. He is also a regular speaker at congresses in Uruguay and Conmebol countries, and a member of corporate boards of international funds that are established in the country.
