Paulo de Almeida Sande

He practices in EU Law and Public International Law, focusing on judicial cooperation in the European area, as well as Energy Law and Public Procurement. With over 40 years of experience, he has worked in law, political science, communication, and political consulting, both at European and national levels.

From 2019 to 2024, he was Partner at Cruz Vilaça Advogados. Previously, he served as Head of the European Parliament Office in Portugal (2004–2012) and as Political Advisor to the President of the Republic (2016–2021). He maintains strong academic ties, having taught as Guest Professor at the University of Lisbon (ISCSP) and currently teaching at the Catholic University of Portugal and Universidade Lusíada. He is also a regular commentator in the media and currently comments for RTP.

He has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2025.
