Mariana Tavares
CounselMariana Tavares is Counsel in the European Union Law and Competition
With extensive academic and institutional experience, she has worked as a referee at the Court of Justice of the European Union, has held various senior positions at the Portuguese Competition Authority and has collaborated as a consultant with the United Nations in the field of competition law.
She chaired several working groups of the European Competition Network and the International Competition Network, and actively participated in the work of the BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the EU-China Trade Project.
He is currently a lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University. He joined Antas da Cunha Ecija in 2025.
