José Luís Beleza focuses his practice on Civil Law, Litigation and Arbitration, Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency, providing legal advice to institutional and private clients on complex and multidisciplinary matters, with a strong procedural and strategic component.
Throughout his professional career, José Luís Beleza has actively participated in significant legislative initiatives, having been a member of the Working Group responsible for the amendment of the Educational Guardianship Law and coordinator of the Working Group responsible for regulating the Law approving the legal framework applicable to the prevention of domestic violence and the protection and assistance of its victims.
José Luís Beleza began his professional traineeship at Pena, Machete, Botelho Moniz, Nobre Guedes, Ruiz & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, in 1997. In 2002, José Luís Beleza joined Alves Mendes, Jardim Gonçalves & Associados as an Associate Lawyer. Between 2006 and 2009, José Luís Beleza served as Legal Adviser to the Secretary of State for Justice in the XVII and XVIII Constitutional Governments. In 2011, José Luís Beleza joined Moser & Lobo D’Ávila – Sociedade de Advogados as an Associate Lawyer and subsequently served as Senior Associate at Telles de Abreu e Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, from 2014 onwards.
José Luís Beleza has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2017.
