Joana Soares Quirino is a Counsel in the Commercial, Corporate and M&A practice

Joana Soares Quirino focuses her practice on Corporate Law, Commercial Law, and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), having provided legal advice on a wide range of projects, including M&A transactions and restructurings, with a particular focus on the real estate, energy (especially renewable energy), and transport sectors. She also advises on the incorporation and ongoing support of companies across various industries.

She provides general corporate legal advisory services, including mergers, transformations, demergers, dissolutions and liquidations, commercial transactions, contract negotiation and drafting, due diligences, as well as ongoing legal assistance to companies on a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters.

She has also advised companies in the media and communications sectors.

She began her traineeship at AMM & Associados (Landwell – PricewaterhouseCoopers legal network), completing it at Cuatrecasas in 2005, where she remained as a Principal Associate until 2018. In that year, she joined OutSystems, where she served as Legal Counsel and Compliance & Data Privacy Officer.

Between 2009 and 2014, she also acted as Guest Assistant Lecturer for the Interdisciplinary Legal Practice Module (Commercial and Corporate Law) of the Law degree programme at the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

She has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2024.
