Carolina Meireles

Carolina Meireles focuses her practice on Corporate and M&A, with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate reorganisations, joint ventures, and commercial contracts. Throughout her career, she has worked on some of the most high-profile matters in Portugal.

Upon completing her traineeship, she joined A. M. Pereira, Sáragga Leal, Oliveira Martins, Júdice & Associados, SP, RL (currently PLMJ), where she remained until August 2008. Between September 2008 and December 2009, she was part of the Mergers and Acquisitions team at Garrigues – Portuguese Branch. In January 2010, she returned to PLMJ as a Senior Associate in the Corporate and M&A practice area.

Throughout her career, she has also undertaken secondments within the legal departments of Novabase (February to May 2017), TAP Air Portugal (December 2019 to April 2020), and Impresa Group (SIC and Expresso), between October 2020 and May 2021. She has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2021.
