Ana Raquel Conceição focuses her practice on Criminal Law, with particular emphasis on criminal proceedings, especially in the areas of economic, organised, and transnational crime.
She holds a Ph.D. in Law, specialising in Criminal Sciences, and is the author of several books and peer-reviewed scientific articles, including, among others, “Telephone Interceptions: Criminal Procedural Framework” and “Money Laundering and the Status of the Cooperating Defendant: A New Requirement in the (Still) Brave New World.”
She is a Guest Assistant Professor at the School of Law of the University of Minho, an Integrated Researcher at the JUSGOV Research Centre (JUSCRIM group), a consultant to the Portuguese Association of Criminology, and a Member, within the professional section, of the Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Football Federation. She also serves as a Member of the High Council for Administrative and Tax Courts.
She actively and regularly participates as a commentator on television channels and other media outlets and is a frequent speaker at conferences, congresses, and seminars, both nationally and internationally. She has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2022.
