The Dean of the ICAM, Eugenio Ribón, visits ECIJA at the opening of the judicial year
On the occasion of the opening of the new judicial year, the Dean of the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid (ICAM), Eugenio Ribón, shared a day of proximity and listening with the Madrid legal profession, visiting different judicial offices and law firms in the capital to learn firsthand the concerns, needs and priorities of the profession.
As part of this agenda, Ribón held a meeting with the heads of ECIJA, a leading firm in digital economy and legal innovation. During the visit, the Dean was interested in the challenges facing the profession in this area and conveyed the ICAM's commitment to actively contribute to the sector's advancement towards a more modern, competitive model aligned with social needs.
Representing ECIJA were the managing partner, Alejandro Touriño, and the partners in Litigation and Arbitration Librado Loriente, Margarita Soto, Fabio Virzi, José María Abella and Javier López, who shared with the Dean the main challenges of the legal profession in the current context of digital transformation and increasing regulatory complexity.
Alejandro Touriño highlighted: “For ECIJA it is always a privilege to host the Dean of the ICAM and to be able to share firsthand the important challenges facing the profession. The proximity and active listening of the Bar Association are fundamental to advance towards a more innovative, competitive and, above all, more responsive legal profession to the needs of citizens.”
